Sagecraft
FAQ

Quick answers

What do I need to play?

A browser. Nothing to install.

Is it free?

Yes, there is a free way in. During private beta, access is by invite first; details and paid plans on the pricing page.

Is it multiplayer?

No, and that is the point. Sagecraft is built for the night your group cannot meet, the campaign itch with no table to scratch it. One hero, one game master, one evening.

Do I need to know 5e?

No. Describe what you do in plain words; the table handles every rule. Players who do know 5e will recognize honest mechanics under the hood.

Can my hero die?

Yes. The dice are real, so the stakes are. A grim ending is still an ending, and a story worth telling. You can always forge a new hero and set out again.

How long is a session?

Most one-shots run about an evening. Your seat is saved if you step away.

Is my adventure saved?

Yes. Leave and return; the table keeps your seat.

What ages is Sagecraft for?

Sagecraft is for players 18 and older during beta. Fair warning on tone either way: the stories can run dark; expect content in the range of a PEGI 16 / ESRB Mature game.

Voiced narration?

Available on some plans; see pricing.

Who makes this?

Goibniu Games, a small studio named for the smith-god whose weapons never missed. That is the standard the mechanics are forged to, and the beta is where we prove it.

Something else?

The Discord is the front door for everything: invites, feedback, and a human answer.
